I saw Jayhawk Jake and ShelbyRacer did this, so I figured I would to. I'm Dsscats. AMA.

I drive a 1992 Nissan 300ZX with 54,000 miles and an automatic transmission which constantly finds some way to break. Because of this, I have it up for sale/trade. I have 4 cats:

Easy. 260Z and 300ZX twin turbo.

260Z improved on the 240Z and made it more livable.

300ZX twin turbo had tons of power and was really quick, plus tons of new tech.

If you think you can get a better car, then do it. I don't recommend my friends to needlessly get rid of cars since really good ones seem to be harder and harder to find.

I don't particularly agree with your statement. That's like saying my small block breaks all the time, might as well just have the big block.

2. I'm probably not the best person to give advice on this, but I'd start out with a cheap DSLR. I bought the DSLR I used for this for $180 on Craigslist (Canon Rebel XTi). If I did it again, I'd spend some extra and get a D3100 for the video function and overall quality and lack of age.

I guess it depends on the car.

If you like it enough, then working on it and driving it should be fun regardless of the performance/cost.

If you don't like it that much and you think you can get a better car, then maybe it is time to move on.
